Tuesday, April 27
Mommy & Me Yoga
Granger Public Library | 8:30-9:30 a.m. | Free
A free yoga class for caregivers and kids to stretch, breathe, and move together—no pressure, just a fun (and slightly chaotic) time. Register at the link above.
Woodward Friends and Neighbors Bingo
407 W. 9th St. in Woodward | 6 p.m. | $10 for three cards per game across 10 games
Bingo, walking tacos and cookies, plus cash prizes and Blackout Bingo to end the night! This is the last Bingo night until fall.

Bring the whole family for an hour of fun, games, and prizes. Thanks to the Granger Public Library for hosting this event the last Thursday of every month!
Take and Bake Lasagna Fundraiser
Last chance—orders close tomorrow. Granger Women’s Club is offering meat and vegetarian lasagna ($12–$20), with proceeds supporting local community programs, literacy, and WG schools. Pickup is Friday, May 8, 3–6 PM at Granger Community Center.

• 🎒 Have you seen the Facebook photos from the Granger Public Library After-School Program and thought it looked amazing? Same here! Unfortunately, this year’s program is already full—but here’s what to know for next year:
Registration opens once a year in August before school starts for the full school year. Space is limited to 30 kindergarten–5th grade students, so if your child wants to join, it’s worth setting a reminder now for August.

• Granger's in Growth Mode
A lot continues to happen in Granger right now. Recent City Council updates included new housing and commercial development plans, ongoing infrastructure projects, annexation efforts, and strong parks and recreation participation (133 kids signed up for MLS GO Soccer 👀).
In case you’re not a nerd like me reading through City Council minutes, there’s a lot in motion right now—and it points to a town carefully planning for what’s next.

• Have a valid driver’s license and a little extra time? Consider helping Volunteer Community Services of Woodward & Granger. This local nonprofit provides free rides to medical appointments, grocery trips, errands, and more—helping Granger and Woodward residents stay independent in their homes. Services depend on volunteers. Interested in helping? Call 515-978-8114 or visit their website.
• Afternoon part-time opportunity available at Janning Family Chiropractic in Granger. Hours are Monday–Thursday from 2–6 p.m., with possible Friday hours as well. Send your resume and a brief bio to [email protected].
